Boys feeling better

Thankfully the boys are feeling much better today!  The party is still postponed until next week of course, what with them having had fevers but we are just happy that they are feeling better.

However, with them feeling better is also them being sad that their party is cancelled.  Luckily, we have some things in mind to make them feel a bit better.

One thing was that instead of having to lie down for an hour of rest time, Z and W were allowed to stay up to watch Star Wars: A New Hope (episode 4) for the very first time!  They were so excited they could barely stand it.  they had been waiting and waiting to see it.  Art borrowed the original trilogy from a coworker and the plan is to work through the 3 movies over the next month or so.

After Yannick woke up, we let them open their birthday presents from Aunt Joy, to help the day still feel  "birthday-like".  They L O V E D them!  We all went outside right away - still in jammies of course - at 5pm to break them in.  Art and I put our swim suits on and good thing because it was their greatest desire to shoot Mommy and DaU!!

All in all it was a nice day to cancel a party because it was H O T, and it should be quite a bit cooler next week.
