Poppi visit - Wednesday
Today, unbelievably, Zachary opted to NOT skip school and go to the Aquarium with us. He said he would skip on Friday, but did not want to miss share. So we decided to go the Tech instead http://www.thetech.org/. It is a science and innovation museum in San Jose. It is reported to
be kid-friendly with plenty of hands-on exhibits. That is correct, though most are aimed at older kids.
Zachary would probably have enjoyed it a bit more than W or Y. The first part of the visit was a bit
rough. Yannick was a bit of a pill and Wyatt, uncharacteristically, had a major crying screaming
meltdown. Made me wonder if taking them was a huge mistake. But after lunch they settled down
and all the exhibits downstairs were more suited to their age. Wyatt enjoyed creating a roller
coaster on the computer then getting to sit in a simulator to ride his creation. His first coaster would
not work because it did not go fast enough, but the other two did fine.
We made it back home just 30 minutes before Zachary's bus would drop him off. Not much time to
relax before he came, but still worth it. glad we went. It was a bit expensive, but hey Dad paid, so no worries there! :)
Later that evening, Zachary had karate which Dad took him to while I stayed home with the two younger boys.
Then I got the evening off. I fixed dinner for the boys and Dad and went to bible study. Poor Art
was stuck at work in a late meeting. I ended up picking him up on my way home at 9pm! Eek!
Not sure why I never took any pictures from today's visit to the Tech, but maybe I can grab them
from Dad's camera and come back and add them.
