Zachary is an Pee Wee Olympian

We signed Zach up for an 8-week sports class called Pee Wee Olympics.  For some reason they will not cover basketball, which is probably better for us, since Wyatt has to go there and watch the classes too, and would DIE if others were playing basketball and he wasn't.

Zach has really excelled in this class...much more than anticipated.  One of the teachers has talked to me outside of class twice about how well he is doing, and how coordinated etc he is.  She told me "he is ready, sign that boy up for t-ball".  I had to explain that he's still 3 and not eligible.  Zachary loves it, but would prefer for me to be in the class watching him.  I would not mind at all except that Wyatt is with us, and he would VERY much like to be part of the class.  By the 5th week, he was finally getting it, and would repeat over and over "dat Zachy class".  Prior to that, he could be heard to yell "MY TURN, MY TURN" as he tried to escape from me and join.  We have access to the other side of the gym while Zach's class is going, and I always bring a ball for Wy to play with, but it only holds his attention for so long.  So far, his class has covered t-ball: throwing, hitting, running bases; soccer: shooting goals, ball control, dribbling; track & field: long jump, standing long jump, hurdles (a good 2" off the floor), along with some gymnastics, lots of running games as warm-ups (Mr. Fox, Mr. Fox..., something with hula hoops, etc).  It is a quick 45 minutes, and Zachary has really enjoyed it.

I am enjoying this class, and looking forward to the last few classes.
