YMCA Family Fun Night

The first Friday of every month, the Y hosts a family fun night, for free.  Free Friday Family Fun Night.  Should be called Fun Fest.  

Tonight's was water fun.  I was told there would be bounce houses, water guns, and inflatable pools with obstacle course and slide.  All of that was true, but the scale of these things was dramatically misunderstood.  i thought the water slide/obstacle course would be one of those giant inflatable things that adult could get on too.  I was wrong.  AND, the weather during the day was hot, but again, as the sun went down, it was pretty chilly in the shade.  HOWEVER, that did not stop the boys from having a blast, it just stopped mom and dad from partaking in the water events.  no stopping us in the bounce house though.  As the evening came to a close, the Counts5 was majorly representing in the bounce house.  Pretty fun!!  

I fed the kids dinner, packed a little food for Art, and headed to the Y.  Art was going to stay at work, and just meet us there, since it is super close to Apple.  Poor guy did not get any dinner until we got back home, at nearly 8pm!

Check out that inflatable pool with slide.  Whoo boy.  However, Yannick did go down it a few times. :)

Near the end of the evening, most people were gone, it having gotten pretty cold at this point, so our boys had the run of the place.  No waiting, no lines, no big intimidating kids, etc.

We finally had to call it as both Art and i were getting cold, and neither of us was wet (though I was wearing a swimsuit and a cover up).  The boys were all getting shivery (not just Zach), and I was starting to think "hmmm, pneumonia?"

When we first got there, I thought I had made a mistake by coming, but the boys had such a great time, and Art and i had a blast in the bounce house, that it turned out to be great.
