Family Worship & togetherness
This weekend has been a bit packed. Friday night we were busy. Saturday morning was Sinterklaas. Afternoon was a birthday party Zach attended; Saturday night, the M.s babysat the boys while Art and I went to a birthday party. By the time Sunday rolled around, we were all pretty exhausted, and felt like we hadn't had any down time as a family. So for the first time in a long long time, maybe ever, we stayed home from church, and had family worship at home then some together time. It was a wonderful experience for us all - snuggled up on the couch together, still in our jammies. The kids asked for more and more bible stories, and they did a great job with their prayers.
Then we all hung out in the front room, which is pretty rare. First Art played little legos w/ Z and I did big legos with Wy.

Next, a small miracle occurred. Somehow, the boys played nicely together and Art and I took naps, sitting up on the couch, for about 30 minutes. I was more dozing, as I could feel the boys running their cars over my legs and such, but Art was totally gone, snoring and all. It was so great to get a little rest while they entertained themselves nicely. After the nap was football time!

Then finally, right before lunch, Zach asked "Can I get my clothes on now", which was our cue to get showers and get dressed, since we did have Ethos Group later that evening.
What a lovely morning!
