Happy 2nd Birthday Wyatt!!!

Happy Birthday dear Wyatt!  How you have grown and changed in the last year.  No longer a baby, not quite yet a big boy (though you think you are Zachary's twin).

I can not start Wyatt's birthday without thinking about Wyatt's less-than strong start in our lives.  Just to remember:
Our sweet little boy born sick sick sick

Now of course he is a vibrant, active, happy, chubby, strong, good-at-basketball, boy.  And now he's 2.  sigh.

Good Morning Wyatt - your second experience with the balloon bed dump!

Our sleepy boy in bed

Getting balloons dumped on him

Cutie in the middle of balloons

In his decorated birthday chair (Art's fam tradition)

Zach giving a much-anticipated present to Wyatt

Wy attempting to get it open

Excited about his basketball; attempted a posed smile

And now playing with that basketball!

Love this shot w/ his crazy moving right hand, and the ball with a halo around it!

Later that evening we had the big birthday party for Wyatt.  His choice for a meal: pork loin.  We added corn and KY-style seasoned green beans.  He almost ate his weight in pork loin.  Poor Zach had to eat FOUR bites of meat, now that he's four years old!  The dining room was now decorated with a Toy Story theme.

After dinner, cake and more presents.  We opted to get mini eclairs instead of cake for Wyatt since he does not seem to love cake.  Unfortunately, he would have none of it, though Zach ended up eating about 4 of them!  Since Poppi got to watch Zach's bday celebration on the computer, we let Opa, Oma, and Oma Sweet watch Wyatt's celebration.

TURN YOUR VOLUME DOWN BEFORE VIEWING THIS

Us singing (quite painfully!!) and bringing in Wyatt's 'cake'

Playing with a car transporter he got

And then the camera battery died.
